About Me

DESIGNER:

My name is Hajnalka Kriska-Horváth. My collection is named ZORA, since this is my name in Serbian and it means dawn.

I wanted to become a fashion designer ever since I was a little girl. I learnt the basics of sewing from my mother. I graduated as a fashion designer/stylist at the Szegedi Divatiskola (Szeged Fashion School). During those three years I could acquire the theoretical background of fashion profession from several renowned industrial artists, such as Éva Bajczár, Dr. Márta Kisfaludy, Éva Mészáros, Zsuzsanna Molnár, Mrs. Csaba Tóth, Magda Vámos.

Already during my studies I have worked as a designer for the SIXVIL company in Budapest. This is when I found myself in the world of fashion design, photo shoots and fashion shows. Since then I have participated in numerous fashion shows, events and exhibitions, among others the Milan Fashion Week.

I am a member of the Szeged Fashion School's board of trustees.

PHILOSOPHY:

I prefer women who are genuine women. On the inside and on the outside. Therefore, I attempt to create clothes resembling a real female soul. Shy but still sexy, simple yet tricky, not too colourful but still vibrating, elegant yet casual. My aim is not to make the dress shining on whoever wears it but rather make the person shining in the dress. I am convinced that each woman can be pretty if she reaches harmony within her own personality.

When a woman is not happy with herself, feminine lines feel strange to her. A miserable woman either hides her curves or puts them on display.
